Sinamine® DGA is a primary amine and is especially recommended for use in metalworking fluids and can be substituted for diethanolamine.
The product is stoichiometrically equivalent to diethanolamine and provides similar buffering, and the resulting salt improves hard water stability. The product has no evaporation and low dissolution properties for copper, aluminum and cobalt.
lt is mainly used as an absorbent for acid gases; a surfactant and a wetting agent it is also used as a raw material for polymers. lt is particularly excellent as a desulfurizing agent.It can also be used under alpine cold, especially suitable for use in hot, water-deficient and desert areas.
